Pastor's adult Bible study and senior saints
Pastor's Adult Bible Fellowship class meets every Sunday morning
at 10:00 a.m. in the church auditorium. This class is designed for an age group
of 50 and older. Pastor Cox teaches Bible truths and
how to apply them to our lives. Our pastor believes strongly
in Sunday School and the constant need to be reminded of stories
from God's Word. Every month Pastor Cox schedules activities
and fellowships that encourage Christian growth and build a team
spirit to reach others for Christ.
Pastor David Cox grew up in a preacher's home, as his father
pastored in both Mississippi and North Carolina.
He met his wife Nancy at Bible college and they were married
in 1980. After graduating from Bible college Pastor
Cox worked for seven years as an assistant pastor, bus director,
youth pastor, and basketball coach in Guin, Alabama.
Pastor Cox and Mrs. Nancy now have five children, three married
and two still living at home.
