The Ladies Class (TLC) is a very diverse group of
women. The class is not defined by age nor
is anyone pigeon-holed by their social or marital
status. It is acknowledged that each woman
brings to the class her own unique gifts and spiritual
frame of mind worthy of contribution.
We also know that the cares of this life often give rise
to doubts and discouragement. Many women come
feeling wounded and alienated. It is the goal
of this class to create a safe atmosphere where
any woman can connect, receive prayer and support and
honest feedback.
While it is comforting to belong to a group, ultimately
all our needs as women are met in Jesus Christ.
Nothing can save her . . . only Him. No one can
promise her anything . . . only Him. No one
can give her the desires of her heart . . . just Him.
We invite you to visit The Ladies Class on Sunday mornings
at 10:00 a.m. in the education building next to the church.
(2nd floor) Come and learn of Him, hear testimony
of His power and grace and be encouraged to grow in
Christ.
Faith Harrison began attending Seattle Baptist Church in
1996. As a single mother raising three teenagers Faith
knew that a Christian family needed structure, good counseling,
and pastoral support to develop and nurture. When Faith
began teaching The Ladies Class there was only a handful of
women attending sporatically. Several years have passed
and the class has grown into a lively fellowship of about twenty-five
regularly attending and fully participating Christian ladies.
Faith is now married to Steve Harrison who also attends and serves at Seattle Baptist Church. Most women in The Ladies Class have felt Steve's support behind the scenes.
